| DELIVERY AND AVAILABILITY
The products shown on our website are held in stock at our Cornwall shop. Subject to availability, we aim to despatch orders within 48 hours, to arrive with UK customers within seven working days. However, in exceptional circumstances it may take up to 28 days. During busy periods, we will advise you if there are likely to be any delays. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay by email or telephone, and provide you with an anticipated delivery time. Your order will be despatched as soon as the item is available.
We use reputable carriers such as Royal Mail, Parcel Force and Amtrak. However, if you experience any aspect of your delivery service that you have not been happy with then we would like to hear from you.
Our carriers deliver between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for retrieving undelivered parcels. Please use an alternative delivery address if you are out during the day.
STANDARD UK DELIVERY
Cost is calculated by total weight of all products selected in your shopping basket, per delivery address - Monday to Friday only. Please allow 7 working days for your delivery.
Next DAY UK DELIVERY (Amtrak Courier)
Cost £15.00 per delivery address - Monday to Friday only (order placed before 12pm). Subject to availability this guarantees delivery of your order within two working days, providing we receive your order before midday. As our gift wrapping takes a little extra time, this service is not usually available on gift wrapped orders.
HEAVY ITEMS - UK
Delivery charge for heavy items will be £15.00 per delivery where indicated.
We are happy to arrange delivery to locations outside of the UK paid for by credit card. Please advise the products you would like to purchase and we will provide a quotation to cover the appropriate delivery cost to you. You will be liable for all duties and levies payable at any foreign port as a result of delivery of goods outside of the UK. You shall not be entitled to cancel your order on the basis of unforeseen duties or levies.
Please note that any refunds to overseas orders will be done in British Pounds Sterling for the exact amount charged by us in Pounds Sterling. Gadget World Direct cannot be held responsible for any variations in exchange rates and consequent loss of currency as a result of any such changes. We strongly recommend our customers consider this before placing any overseas orders.
SECURITY
For your security all first orders are delivered to the cardholders address only, however on subsequent orders you may register an alternative delivery address, i.e. work. Be sure to fill all entries marked as required.
Let us know about a secure place to leave the parcel if no one will be home to sign for it or any helpful delivery details for the driver. When all delivery details have been entered, click the "Continue" button. You will be taken to the secure payment page.
Gadget World Direct will obtain a proof of posting when your parcel is dispatched. In the event of non-delivery please contact us as soon as possible so may track your order with our couriers.
